Pitch Day Showcases Innovative Climate-Smart Ag Solutions
Our Fall 2024 Fellows culminated their journey with an inspiring Pitch Day on Dec. 6, 2024, presenting groundbreaking solutions in Climate-Smart agriculture. The event highlighted our Fellows' deep understanding of industry challenges and their innovative approaches to addressing them. We're proud to share the following solutions that emerged from this cohort:
- Climate Smart Incentive Agent: An AI-powered incentives catalog providing comprehensive coverage across public, commercial, and corporate programs. It aligns farms with optimal incentives to maximize income per acre, and uses smart automation to streamline enrollment, and simplify reporting. Offered to ag retailers and cooperatives, this solution enables them to open new income opportunities for farmers, create additional revenue streams for themselves, and strengthen their role as trusted farm advisors.
- Transition Warranty Vehicle: CPGs, airlines, and financial institutions have made corporate sustainability goals around regenerative agriculture that are difficult and costly to meet. There is an unmet need to help move farmers and producers to adopt more regenerative agriculture practices, especially immediately following practice adoption due to potential and often temporary yield loss. A transition warranty vehicle allows corporates to efficiently and effectively achieve their goals by derisking the industry’s transition to regenerative agriculture.
- Supply Shed Carbon Tracing: An intelligent platform for tracking, managing, procuring, and reporting bulk commodities storage and logistics based on its carbon intensity score and the characteristics that need to be delivered at each step in the supply chain, from aggregators and processors to CPGs, to achieve their sustainability goals.
